October on Instagram is a great time for artists to strut their stuff. Because October means Drawlloween, or #drawlloween, and a lot of well-known artists share a prompt list which you can use to create your own art. This year I decided I would dedicate October to create as much art as I can. For this I followed the prompt lists of two artists I admire very much, and who coincidentally share their first name: Camilla d’Errico and Camille Pfister.
Camilla d’Errico’s Hivelloween
This wonderful artist produces so many beautiful art pieces, it’s amazing. I love her colorful paintings and illustrations. Camilla d’Errico created a series of bee illustrations, based on movie and anime characters. This series is calles Fuzzbutts. For Drawlloween she created a special prompt list called Hivelloween Killer Bees, befitting this month’s theme. It looked like so much fun that I wanted to do as many prompts as possible. Here are my illustrations of the first week:
Camille Pfister’s Girlfriends of Halloween
The second prompt list I followed was that of Camille Pfister, whom I’ve been praising in one of my former blog posts. Her Girlfriends of Halloween prompt list immediately fired up my imagination, I just had to go and do this one as well.
So here’s a summary of the Drawlloween illustrations of her prompt list I did the first week:
